Some users have reported MySQL error caused by Are PayPal plugin. After some investigations I’ve found that it was caused by a SQL syntax which is not supported by early versions of MySQL. Are Paypal version 1.7.7 contains some changes to workaround those SQL syntax problems.

It was noticed that some blogs throw exception:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in \wp-content\plugins\are-paypal\are-paypal.php on line 819

this is probably due to php.ini setting short_open_tag is set to Off.

Refactored the code to use smarty templates
Added a possibility to have expiration periods in days, weeks, months, years

Just checked in a new stable version 1.6.2.

Moved button template code from the main file to a helper one.
Deleted some not used code lines from ipn handler.

Version 1.6.0 appeared to be messed up.

Version 1.6.0 appeared to be messed up.

Version 1.5.9 was renamed to 1.6.1 in order to exclude latest changes.

Sorry for this mess. I’ll let you know about the progress on multipriced posts soon.

ArePaypal was changed to be multipriced.

Changes:

- Added Multiprice for any post/page.
- Optimize for WP 2.7.1
- Added some changes to Design/Layout and images for buttons.

Added a functionality to support a dedicated – special your blog page containing users purchased posts. This feature was requested by one of the plugin users and I think it is very useful.

In the main configuration page you can find a dropdown containing blogs pages. You can use this dropdown to point to a page you want to add a list to.

After setting the page users purchased post list will be appended to the text of the page:)
